47O44. I think I can see where the number comes from now. Its the 47th Copy Birth Certificate issued that year/month/day, by O for Oduya, the Deputy Registrar, and 44 refers to the Register/book it's recorded in.

Besides, I cannot say for sure that ours was an Olympia. But ours did have number keys like this Olympia at eBay.
The easiest way to determine one or the other as a fake is simply by the template. It's extremely unlikely that both South Australia, Australia and Coastal Province, Kenya, used the same template, including the same coat of arms (or logo) at the top of the page. Of course, it's possible that both the Kenyan and Australian are ultimately fakes for different reasons.
BTW, has anyone noticed that the folds in the Australian and Kenyan documents are in different locations on the template? Just wondering what the significance of that would be.
You've got me curious now. I just asked the seller: "Looks like one that our family had when I was a kid. Question: Are the Z and Y really switched around on the whole machine, or are the keyboard keys in the wrong spots?"

On your internet explorer toolbars, select status bar.
The status bar comes up on the bottom of the page of your screen.
On the right side of the status bar will be a down arrow, next to the 100%.
Click on the down arrow and select 200%, and then look again.
You will see the "K" and the "6".
If you can't, then your bias is overriding your eyeballs.
The O is from the original PACER Court file. The E/K issue has already been dealt with. The E turns into a K as an accidental result of digital manipulation of the .jpg file.

I got an answer from the seller:
"Wow, that is very observant. I did not notice that! The keys have not been switched. I see that when I press each key the correct letter comes up. Thanks for pointing that out!"
The one in our house had the usual QWERTY keys. My guess is that somebody has tampered with the eBay Olympia and moved things around somewhere along the line. The Olympias pictured at http://www.mrmartinweb.com/type.htm#olympia are all QWERTYs.
