Here is video of Sonia Sotomayor being sworn-in today as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. She will be "invested as a member of the Court" on September 8 in a special session of the Supreme Court. But the swearing-in today allows her to begin her work as an Associate Justice.

So racism is now A-OK in the public square. That is how I see it, considering an openly racist is now sitting on the SCOTUS. That would be a proof that the US Senate and the President see racism as a good demonstration of character and qualification.
Of course, since Sotomayor also believes that judges make law, and that ruling based on feelings as opposed to ruling by the “rule of law” is the way to go - the US Constitution is dead.
There goes the neighborhood, or here comes the “hood”

Sorry...it was meant to be an insult to the personally self destructive, careless and stupid fool who has a long term history of disease and that should be scrupulous about her personal health and hygiene and completely ignores it...and is about to take a wide seat on the bench of the SCOTUS...where a careful exercise of judgement should be required...I guess it was more “fatist” than racist...but point well taken, I will be more careful to be PC...
Bleh. A blatant racist added to the SCOTUS. How pathetic. And Lindsey Gramnesty(and other RINOs) gave her a “yes”. Why? To tee off those who voted for him? He just wants to be pals with the enemy as they all mingle in the DC cesspool.
Uh, it seems Gramnesty was the only RINO to vote for this wide load of liberal crap named Sotomayor. One guy defected, just Lindsey. Maybe he’s angry his parents gave him a girly name and he wants attention.

If I were a black/white male justice on this court, I’d always stay as far away from Sotomayor as I can. I’d always make sure that there was another “disinterested” party in the room when I did need to have contact with her. Premonition. This is going to get ugly.
Don't forget her reliance on foreign law to make decisions.
How many times do we need to hear that she is a Latina? It is about like Kerry serving in Vietnam..
Thanks. I got bad info after I posted that Gramnesty and others voted yes. I read a newer article which said Gramnesty was the sole repub defector. That just didn’t seem right. Thanks for the correct info.

She will rule in ways that subvert the Constitution.
Thus, any Senator who voted for her confirmation has committed treason and is unworthy of holding elected office.
