They must have posted it because it said one negative thing about President Bush “It’s the same “you’re either with us or against us” attitude that George W. Bush loved to trot out.” Only thing is.. Pres. Bush was talking about other countries.. NOT his own citizens.

...increasingly vocal protests of Americans who are concerned about the Obama administration's plans to overhaul health care...

That is a poor choice of phrase. "Overhaul" implies taking something in sad shape and reworking it into something better. obama and cohort's plan for our healthcare will do nothing of the sort. Analysis by experts who are in a position to know predicts something far different. Many experts in insurance, Congress, and medicine state the plan in Congress will reduce not only the availability and responsiveness of our healthcare system, but also the fundamental quality of it. Furthermore, basic research and innovation will slow considerably. Finally, costs will go up.

Some overhaul, pay more for less: lower quality and less timely treatments.

Given these very likely outcomes of the Congressional healthcare "reform" plan it is not fair to call it an "overhaul." It is more a grab for control by an administration and government run amok, hungry for additional power-over and control-over our lives. Overhall? Nay, trashing is more like it. Of course, Congress has already made itself and its healthcare immune to the "reforms" it proposes to foist onto the rest of us. Elitist ba****ds.

We need more than a little this time around. The cancer has grown to the extent that we have to look hard to find that which is not cancer.

America is not going to be saved through elections. All we do is exchange one set of politicians for another, and one political party for another. Each one is worse than the one before. Jefferson was right. We need a good size revolution about every twenty years, and it is way past due. Jefferson did not want to write a constitution for the United States, for he believed that would be enslaving future generations to the past. He believed that every generation should be allowed to write its own constitution. That is a very radical idea. Jefferson was more concerned about the constitution for the state of Virginia than he was for the United States.
I would speculate that Jefferson was more concerned about the abuses of a strong centralized government than the dangers of anarchy and mob rule.
