I am convinced I can make a few million dollars if I wrote a movie or book with a sweet loving gay couple- and I can’t ever write good or know how to make a movie

It doesnt matter though, look at brokeback mountain

I haven’t read the book as I don’t really like Neil Gaiman, but in general SF stories don’t require gay themes in order to win the Hugo. SF still tells real stories.
