I don’t understand why FReepers always treat homosexuals so badly. These sound like a pair who lived the lives the way they wanted to and didn’t bother anyone. Isn’t that what a Free Republic is all about?

I know we all hate a “gay agenda.” That is something different.

But there must be a lot of gay Freepers or FReepers with gay kids. Are you really going to disown them and shame them??

If some of you consider it a sin, well, there are a LOT of sins and I have this feeling that there are no FReepers who are without any.

I’m happy for these two and their anniversary.

Generally because they treat us with disdain. If gays would just shut up, take it private and stop making the actions of their genitals a cause celebre and reason for their existence, we'd leave them alone.

"I don’t understand why FReepers always treat homosexuals so badly."

Because they are sick, disgusting sexual deviants.

Yes.

If some of you consider it a sin, well, there are a LOT of sins and I have this feeling that there are no FReepers who are without any.

It is the Lord who considers it a grave sin, an abomination. And yes, I to consider it a sin because it IS a sin.

Just because other freepers may have sinned, does not excuse THAT sin. Unlike unrepentant sexual deviant homosexual sinners, they have probably repented their sin, and have gone forward and committed that sin no more.

I’m happy for these two and their anniversary.

Goodie for you. But they were not "married" therefore, it's not really an anniversary of anything but 70 years of unrepentant sinning.

That's going to take about 70 years of hail Marys to repent that one.

Most homosexuals are unrepentant sinners who mock G-ds words and his followers. These two are unrepentant sinners, and are worthy of contempt. 70 years of sin is NOTHING TO BE CELEBRATING.

Dont ask, dont tell..who cares.

“I’m happy for these two and their anniversary.”

Keeping our noses the hell out of other peoples business is one thing, being happy for a couple of old deviants is another.

On another point; I don’t know these two, but deviance involves a lot of fixation and following. Rare indeed is the deviant who reserves herself to just one other person. Something that would shock most people out of their shoes is a peek into the minds, lives and practices of the sexual deviant, however, in this case, ‘homey-and-sweet-and-both-are-girls an article might try to make it.

“I’m happy for these two and their anniversary.”

I would be if they were lifelong friends or sisters.

Lesbian lovers? No.

I'll tell you why...

Because it's a sin and they'll go straight to hell. But those who treat them so badly or say 'it's a sin' are without sin and will go straight to heaven. Yeah, right...

I thought we were all sinners. I guess there are degrees of sins:

Lesbian? Go to hell.
Self-righteous jerk? Welcome to Heaven, have a nice afterlife.

Thanks for that post, and thank you for making the distinction between those who are merely gay themselves & and those who are seeking to forcibly impose their values on everyone else by promoting a militant gay agenda.

It's an important distinction to make, too; there are homosexuals who want absolutely nothing to do with that effort & yet there are, in fact, 'sinless' heterosexuals who actively promote the militant gay agenda among children in this nation's schools every day of the week.

I'm not gay, don't have any in my family who are gay (that I know of). However, I've known enough other gay people well enough to say that I cannot imagine that someone would choose to be homosexual, given all of the hassles they must endure, had they been given any say in the matter.

They are God's children too.

Frankly what two people do, doesn't really concern me. I have some gay friends, and they are not the "in your face" types.

I think the problem a lot of us have is with a certain segment of the gay population that feels that it has to attack "normalcy" to justify their behavior. They attack our institutions of religion and Judeo-Christian values. And that is what we have a problem with. They believe homosexuality should be considered equal to heterosexuality.

It is not. That's not saying that two grown adults can't be free the live the life they choose as long as it doesn't hurt anybody, but don't try to tell me that both lifestyles are equal.
