Looks like a mobile power unit on the back of a flat bed. They were all over New Orleans years ago. The Army always prepositions them all over the place or it could be worn out and heading for the junkyard in Bama.

It looks like a mobile generator, for use with a radar, or as a power source for a headquarters unit.

What about the other 2 Vehicles. The guy talking seems to think Nobama is gonna put the squeeze on us.

There was one that kinda looks like a cross between the humvee and a stryker sort of.

...doubt he's ex military first off...he wouldn't be blabbing away to some radio guy. Second, he's gonna find himself either under arrest for filming WHILE DRIVING.....or becoming an integral part of his engine compartment when he smashes into a stopped semi in front of him on a rain slicked southern highway

Looks like a Hummer. As for the vid itself. Reminds me of the military vehicles that can be seen occasionally around the Fort Lewis area up here. Strykers, Hummers, Various Miscellaneous military vehicles, etc.

The guy says he hasn't seen vehicles like this in Iraq.

I have.

Not sure but the one you passed looks like a mechanics trailer or some type of testing equipment, I was combat arms so I won't know about that. The ones on the opposite side of the road on trailers, first two were M577'S APC'S command post vehicles. The other one with wheels was an M-RAP it's a mine resistant vehicle. Where did you see these at? Probably heading to a port some where to be shipped to Iraq or the Stan. IMO I don't think you have to worry about it. 3IDVET

Kinda odd that the guy talking says that the other truck drivers wouldn’t respond on the CB radios.

Maybe they were on a different channel. :) Maybe they were on a military specific channel? Maybe... just maybe... it was the shadow government. :)

The two vehicles with small gun turrets are Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs), which entered service in the 1980's. Their main armament is a 25mm chain gun, with a 7.62 mm machine gun and TOW missiles.

The box like tracked vehicles at the rest stop look like support vehicles based on the M113 Armored Personnel Carrier (APC), a 1960's design that saw service in Viet Nam.

These vehicles are in commercial transport and are not associated with military personnel so as to be ready for action.

It looks like a G Wagon which is used by Canadian Forces and USMC.

REX 84 seems to be a military contingency plan for dealing with civil unrest or natural disaster. The existence of such a plan does not imply nefarious intentions, only that there is planning for such contingencies. I am confident that somewhere there are also plans for the occupation of Canada and Mexico, to invade and occupy Cuba, and so on. The reason for such plans is that without them, the military cannot act quickly or well in an emergency.

It is an MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicle. It is a big, unwieldy armored box to carry troops while protecting them against IEDs and RPGs.
