Five-year-old girl battling cancer viciously attacked by yobs who tried to set her on fire

A girl of five who is battling cancer is recovering today after two boys sprayed an aerosol in her face and tried to set her alight.
Scarlett Hellewell had to be rescued by neighbours when the boys pinned her down and sprayed the deodorant in her face in Halifax, West Yorks.
She escaped with just bruises after the deodorant failed to ignite.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: 'It is reported the girl was playing when she was approached by two young boys who kicked and punched her before spraying an aerosol in her face and attempting to set her alight. The match did not ignite.'
The two young boys, believed to be only 10 and seven, ran off when someone came to Scarlett's help on Tuesday evening. Officers are appealing for witnesses.

Doesn’t this girl have a father? They are selling their toys for a holiday? No father around to go to work and save for a holiday? No father around to protect them?
And what about the horrible little pukes that did this... is there a father around to discipline them and teach them compassion?
I raised my daughter in the UK, during the end of the Thatcher years... it turned downhill quickly, a huge counsel estate with the occasional normal family scattered around.
I guess so. They have ‘evolved’ and become more accepting of others. Kinda what the libs and moderates want to do here.
About 10 years ago, I was in Spain and met a British tourist headed to a museum in the same somewhat out of the way place. We couldn’t find the museum, although we were pretty sure we were in the right neighborhood. Unfortunately, all the shops were closed because it was the siesta.
Finally, I saw some boys, about 12 yrs old, kicking a ball around at the end of the street, and I told my British friend that I was going to go ask them. She looked at me in horror and said that I was very brave and she wasn’t going to go with me. I had no idea what she meant.
She stood at the end of the street, I asked them for directions (I speak Spanish), they told me, and I went back to tell this to my British friend. She told me that in England, you would never go up to a group of kids playing on the street because they would turn on you and beat you to death just for the fun of it. And then she told me about a friend of hers who had been beaten into a coma for asking directions from some neighborhood children.
England has a problem with its Muslims, but I think it also has a problem with its own native born and bred population. Thank you, big government and socialism.

Their socialist ways encouraged the breakdown of the family with a entire generation of yobs and chavs growing up on the dole, thinking they are entitled to freeload and never have to face any consequences for bad behaviour.
