EVERY site I visit that has a ‘story’ on him, I won’t click, because it will be just that, a ‘story’. Pure propaganda. You think he’ standing before God explaining the horrid laws he made for people to live under? Trying to explain all the dead babies he allowed?

>>> CNN is reporting that there will be several days of official mourning and he would be lying in state at the Capitol and even a state funeral. Horse drawn cortege etc.

Not sure if Obama can handle that much upstaging.

My first reaction to Kennedy’s death was “It’s about time”

I found it interesting that FNC mentioned ALL aspects of his political career. I wonder if the other networks will do the same. I have my doubts.

There is nothing newsworthy about it. No one that watches FOX cares if Kennedy died. Frankly, I hope FOX never mentions it.

CNN is afraid they will miss something.

They have a camera stationed near the Kennedy home.

Showing: a guard, one or two people (camera/news people) milling around. Otherwise, it is pitch dark.

Several days of mourning?

Watch their ratings drop.

Rahm E and Axelrod will advise 0 and Congress to re-name their HealthCare Bill after Ted Kennedy. Any bets?

I have occasionally watched Fox for an entire weekday. You would not know there’s a world of six billion people out there, in 170 or so countries. You would think there’s nothing happening in the world but a murder in Cleveland, a car chase in L.A., a celebrity overdose or fashion crime, and maybe a couple of press conferences in D.C.

Strange....his ex wife is an out and out alcoholic and she’s still alive. You just never know.

Wow! He's dead? Really? How can that be?!! He just wrote such a poignant letter to Cadillac Duval asking to change the law so a successor for him could be chosen more easily! How incredibly coincidental!

I for one will be posting a picture of Mary Jo with every post during Teddy's "mourning" period. I can't believe they're going to let the whale lie in state.

It’s getting to be a habit with Obama. Every time he goes on vacation somebody dies. :-)

Just in case this wasn't posted yet.

Regarding the death of Senator Ted Kennedy, Mary Jo Kopeckne was unavailable for comment.

He died in his bed, overlooking the ocean. He didn’t drown. Too bad.

Maybe Fox is just giving Ted the respect he deserves.

Or, perhaps the producers already know that the other networks are going to go to wall-to-wall gushing coverage of the life and times of the drunken SOB, and they already have plans to grab all of the viewers that are sick to death of the knee-jerk, sycophantic circle jerks of the liberal press.
