With Ted Kennedy's Death, The Health-Care Battle is Over! And the ZOT is On!

And the Democrats have won. President Obama will use the emotional capital of the Senator's passing to push through--via reconciliation--legislation that SHALL include the public option that the Pelosi wing of the party wants. Any Republicans who dare to speak against this will be portrayed as heartless demagogues, spitting on the grave of a liberal legend.

Unfortunately, the beltway does the voting.

I disagree. People are tired of hearing platitudes, sound bites, and emotional appeals. They want to know, from a government they don’t trust, specifically how this 1300-page monstrous legislation is going to affect their own health care. Others, like us, see it as a freedom and tax-robbing, fascist federal assault on the individual that it is.

Conjuring the memory of Ted Kennedy (who is not well-liked outside of MA anyway), just ain’t going to cut it. In fact, it may be another Wellstone moment.

I think that Kennedy’s demise is exceptionally well-timed, but for the Republicans. Due to the Massachusetts law Kennedy championed when Kerry ran for president in 2004, and belatedly tried to get repealed in recent weeks, his replacement in the Senate must be selected by the voters in a special election, and no earlier than 135 days after his death.

The Democrats and their allied independents (Lieberman and Sanders) have only 59 votes now. The filibuster is back.

Wonder if they are going to be any waitresses invited to the funeral.

So will the MA voters be able to conjure up some worthless piece of crap that could possibly suck more than "The Lyin' of the Senate"?

Can they change it now after he is dead or is it too late?

“The Democrats and their allied independents (Lieberman and Sanders) have only 59 votes now. The filibuster is back.”

The filibuster is back if we can get our cowardly Senators to act. There are so many RINOS, I have to wonder. My Republican Senator Dick Lugar is looking worse than my Democrat Senator Evan Bayh.

Had he been in Canada he would have dies 2 years ago.

Bingo! When the Dims try to use Kennedy's passing as a "reason" to pass this health control boondoggle this point should be driven home as often as possible. Canada is just beginning to shift their system back to one that relies on private insurance because they have realized their so-called "public option" is bankrupting them and their citizens are not getting the care they need. I can't think of a better example to hang around Obamalamadingdong's neck.....

“Take the blue pill.”

Which begs the question, why didn’t Teddy just take the pill? What a waste of money! A glioblastoma brain tumor is a very costly cancer which is basically a death sentence. 60%, of all patients die within the first year of diagnosis, the remaining dying in the second and third year. Only 2% survive beyond five years.

When you look in the dictionary under: “worthless piece of crap that could possibly suck more than “The Lyin’ of the Senate”...you’ll find that picture.

Are you a useful idiot who signed up just to post this idiotic and shallow analysis?

You obviously have no idea what’s going on.
