Yep! We’re going to see the natural horseman whose program we train with, Dennis Reis ( www.reisranch.com.) Friday. All day we’ll be at the WI State Fair grounds where Dennis makes his “tour stop”.

I also study the other natural horsemen, Parelli, Clinton Anderson, and Chris Cox. Most of them tour every year and all have weekly programs on RFD-TV, basic programming on most satellite dish networks. Listings at RFD-TV.com. Most horse programming is 9pm central Monday to Wednesday, and repeats at other times in the week.

Parelli has the best step by step program for beginners in natural horsemanship, as I was 7 years ago. I also watched the other horsemen and then got Reis’s system too. Chris Cox and Clinton Anderson are also outstanding natural horsemen. I learn from them all. It’s all the same natural approach, working with the horse’s nature, instead of against it. You might know all that already. Hee Hee.

I hope someday all horses have owners who treat them naturally. That might take decades, but I hope it happens.

Happy Trails! TCP

My husband watches RFD-TV a lot, so I know what you’re talking about. :) I enjoy several of the programs - Dennis Reis is one of them. Have fun at the Fair grounds!

Very sweet graphic, Meg! I worked on a cute graphic this morning and kept messing it up and finally gave up. Didn’t have my normal patience, I guess! I think when you don’t feel right, you can’t do anything right...LOL! Think I feel a little better tonight.

Thank you Amy, for the lovely graphic today! I did get my hair done....have to keep that ‘natural blonde’ look you know! It was time for a little color today. I buy my own color and she puts it on for me. I have always put it on myself until about a year ago! (I almost turned around when I was half way there, but just kept going and was glad when it was over). Of course, I had a nap after that. Just now rolled the trash down and watered flowers...quite a chore!

Hope your grandson is doing much better today!

Sorry for not responding sooner and thanks for the well wishes. Latest report...

Logan, our 7 year old grandson began to display flu symptoms last weekend. A trip to the dr with tests conducted and the results came back today that he does indeed have swine flu as well as another type of flu.

His temp shot up to 103 early in the week but subsided to 99 over a two day period.

His mom, our daughter began displaying symptoms on Tues. Dr visit yesterday with tests. And now his dad is feeling under the weather. We'll hopefully have results tomorrow.

I am his day-care provider after school for a 2-3 hour period but when he got sick last weekend, he wanted his mom to stay home with him rather than coming over here because, "I don't want to make Poppy sick."

When he made his visit to the dr, the receptionist instructed our daughter to call when she was in the parking lot so they could bring out a mask for him to wear before entering the building.

He will be out of school all next week as well which isn't making him a happy camper because he LOVES school - 2nd grader.

Gosh Dave, I’m so sorry your little grandson has the swine flu and am glad he is making progress on getting well. Hope your daughter doesn’t have it but certainly looks as if she may. When I started getting sick Monday/Tuesday, that entered my mind...thank goodness I am showing improvement. My doctor did send me antibiotics and they have helped a lot.

Thought it was so coincidental that they call you Poppy, as that is what our grandchildren called their grand-dad! Its a small world, isn’t it?

Wishing good health on the way for all!

Just touching base and saying hello to you, Miss Kitty. Your kitty sleeping upside down is so sweet. Hope everything’s going well with the sprucing up of the new place. :)

Thank you, Dear Billie! I Worked there about 6 Hours Today Doing Yard Work, Mowing, and Picking Up Fallen Branches for Kindling, and it was So Nice Outside since the Weather has Cooled Off. Autumn is on the Way; the Leaves are Already Beginning to Start to Fall from the Trees. Soon there will be Dried Pecan Leaves Everywhere, and I Love that; it Looks like a Massive Golden Brown Carpet, Really Neat.

God Bless All FRiends! (((((((Goodnight)))))))

Einstein’s God
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. —Psalm 19:1

When the great physicist Albert Einstein was asked if he believed in God, he responded: “We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. . . . That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human beings toward God. We see the universe marvelously arranged and obeying certain laws but only dimly understand these laws.” Although Einstein marveled at the design he saw in nature, he did not believe in a personal Creator.

The psalmist shared Einstein’s sense of awe about nature but took the next step and believed in the Designer behind the design: “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork” (Ps. 19:1).

The wonder we feel as we behold our universe should serve as a road sign pointing to the One who created it. The Scriptures tell us, “All things were made through [Christ], and without Him nothing was made that was made” (John 1:3).

Are you struggling in your beliefs? Look up at the stars tonight. In the sky is crafted an amazing road sign pointing to the Designer behind the design.

God wrote His autograph
Upon the sky last night,
In the stars I never saw
A signature so bright! —Schoeberlein

Creation’s design points to the Master Designer.
