A sidebar: Radio show psychologist Toni Grant once addressed the issue of women who say they intimidate men. She stated that in her 30 year practice she found that men are generally not intimidated by women...and upon further inquiry she found that women who think they are intimidating are mis-reading the message that those men are sending ...they just don’t like you. I have to agree. Never met the woman who intimidates me..or makes me lose my mind....I don’t care how hot she is...:o)

I know what this looks like. I was in the vegetable department at our local Food Lion when a man asked the attractive young female vegetarian if her melons were organic - only he couldn’t quite get the words out in the right order.

My experience in business is exactly the same. Women who think they are projecting intimidation are just pissing both other women and men off. They usually dig a pit that there is no return from and are forced out or fired.

Women who think they are projecting intimidation are just pissing both other women and men off.

That is exactly what Ms. Grant was alluding to...it all started when a caller was whining about not being able to find a man she doesn't intimidate...imagine her chagrin when Toni asked: "did you ever consider the possibility that these men just don't like you?"
