I just put a set of XS Sight Systems Express Tritium sights on the 1911 I built for myself. Only two dovetails required instead of the milled pocket for the Novaks, etc. The express sights are quick to acquire. I love them and recommend them to my customers. They are not adjustable though, which is okay for me as it is a carry gun.
I own a Dan Wesson commander, with tritium night sights standard... love them!!

Don’t know about the sights, but Briley’s in Houston can put them on for you. I second the Novaks.
There is something you might consider. I don’t like dots on my rear sight. I think a front night sight is sufficiant.
As far as grips, I haven’t found any that are more beautiful than the MonkeyGrips. A set is on my Taurus at my profile page. My son is a friend of the maker. He also makes the grips for Springfield Armory, STI and others.
