I have a part-time job at Sam's with full medical.
There is a Walmart across the street from that and a Supercenter about 10 miles away. They wanted to put a Supercenter closer but all the Anti-Walmart whackos were out there prostesting and marching in circles in an empty parking lot shouting that Walmart was going to destroy a "Pristine" piece of land.
This piece of land was wedged behind a municipal airport, railroad track and the busiest road in Southern NH.
I used to ride my Mtn. Bike thru there to go to my software job (Pre-Obamanomics).
There was absolutely nothing pristine about it unless you consider the pond out front that was polluted by runoff and Canada Geese to be pristine.
Now there is a crappy salvage store there that sells crap that even the Chinese wouldn't sell (Part of the "Building 19" chain for those from New England).

Things that people who hate "Box Stores" don't tell you:
1) Americans work there.
2) You have to be a wise shopper, like anyplace else unless you are a trust-fund baby or marry a Ketchup heiress like J.F. Kerry
3)They Pay good health care that Obama can't provide
4)Under Obamanomics, people get the jobs that are open and available, and if you work hard you can advance.
5) They are Very good at working your schedule around medical emergencies like I've had over the last few years, when My father died from A.L.S.
6) Management is nice for the most part, unlike working for any liberal (bleep)
7) Everyone I know there is anti-union.
8) Most are Republicans.
9) The Democrats that work there are conservative Democrats and don't like Obama or his whole ACORN cabal. 10) I sell a lot of Anti-Obama paraphernalia to my co-workers :) Nobody can stand him in the store I work at.

__________

You are right on the money. Costco is a clean, bright warehouse store that sells quality food and dry goods. I work inside Costco as a food demonstrator. Their employees are well paid and happy. The members are happy because they are getting good prices. The seafood is nothing short of superb in quality. The Kirkland brand (Costco’s store brand) is always high quality. Anything you bring back is gladly refunded. We have saved so much money on groceries since we started shopping there. And of course there is our VIZIO 32 inch HD tv that we got for 399.00.

We love Costco!
