the Yankees and Red Sox have no fear of each other. But I think both teams would rather play someone else in the ALCS.

The Yanks would far rather play the Bosox than the Angels in the ALCS -- (far) less travel, and the Angels have been a playoff (and reg season) nemesis for 7 years now. Plus the Yanks have some major unfished biz with Boston -- revenge for '04.
