I can’t believe the lengths you guys are going to twist this thing from what I said. READ MY POST...I was talking about the BLACKMAIL. Why can’t you guys admit what Rush did was wrong...the reasons for it may be EXPLAINABLE..but it was wrong and it was against the law. He’s just a human being folks, he’s not a God.. You won’t get any arguments from me about Letterman...he’s a detestable human being. And not funny to boot. An out of touch, arrogant, piece of crap. That’s why this isn’t so surprising.
Here's the definitive answer for both of us:
HYDROCODONE V.S. OXYCODONE THESE TWO DRUGS ARE SIMILAR, BUT NOT the same. Hydrocodone is the generic name for Vicodin, Norco, Lortab and about 30 others. It is a narcotic analgesic, and not quite as strong as Oxycodone. It's also SLIGHTLY less regulated ie.. it can be CALLED IN to a pharmacy by a physician. It can be habit forming. Vicodin and the rest are a combo of hydrocodone and acetaminophen (Tylenol). Oxycodone is also a narcotic analgesic, also can be habit forming. It's also a combo of acetaminophen and oxycodone (generic) name for Percocet, Tylox, Roxilox. It is SLIGHTLY more regulated ie.. in CANNOT be called in to a pharmacy, you have to have a physical written prescription from a physician. Because of it's potential for abuse and dependence, doctors tend to order Vicodin rather than Percocet.
I’ve changed my mind about Polanski after reading everything out there. I did not know some of the things we’ve all learned this week. I don’t see how anyone can think he should go free now.
I’ve known about Polanski for some time now. But the very fact that certain Hollyweird types are in support of the POS, (Woody Allen, no less, which figures) is glaring proof of what we have sunk to in this country. I shudder to think what America will look like in ten years. Chicago, New Orleans, DC-like crime rates and SF/Hollyweird-like perversions run amuck. If we don’t get a handle on this quick and turn it around, we’re doomed.
THAT is why I ‘go off’ when I see someone bash or appear to bash ANY of the essential, effective and key figures in our conservative movement to stop that degradation into Hell. Sorry if I misjudged.
