Uh, I know that there are many here who will agree with you but I might point out just a couple of things:

(1)Rush's joy is about Letterman's comments regarding the "family values" of Sarah Palin, her children, etc. and

(2)Rush's "addiction" began with legal,prescribed addictive pain medication given to him to help with the excruciating cervical pain (I'll admit here, I'm suffering from the same pain and thanks to Rush and his personal experiences, I've learned to refuse any prescription for Oxycontin from my doctors, who are still prescribing it to other chronic pain sufferers as myself.)

There is a huge difference between finding oneself addicted by a medication even going so far as to illegally attempting to get more when you find no doctor to write prescriptions for more and ridiculing each and every conservative for human frailties, while sexually preying on one's employees when they depend on you for their livelihood.

WAIT ONE SECOND HERE...so how about people who steal food because they can't afford it..I don't think that's a road you want to go down!

Except, if memory serves me correct, the charge he ‘doctor shopped’ or did anything illegal to get the medication was never proven, just an accusation thrown out.
