The majority of people who get that obese is from glandular or metobolic diseases. You left out "they have big bones".

Most of us should be thankful we weren't born with this man's biochemistry. His biochemistry, yeah. That's the ticket.

If you’re talking about Manuel Uribe, he got married to his girlfriend and is still alive. I’ve seen 2 shows about him and yeah, they did blame his weight on American fast food, but come on. You gotta eat a lot of pizza and subs to get that big.

Thanks - I think that was his name. What happened with his weight?

I always wonder that, if they said they were gorging on cheap chips (fries) and burgers and sausages etc but they always say take-aways (take-outs) I really have to justify to myself to buy one every couple of months as I can easily spend equivalent to half a week's shopping bill on it.

I have also read and watch TV programs where people say they overate in the first place but to maintain the weight because basically it has messed their metabolism up they only have to eat a little over what the body requires and it maintains the weight.

I saw a follow up program where he was loosing weight and his girlfriend was now preparing his food and cutting out fried stuff. He also had a team of doctors monitoring him.

The food stamp allotment wouldn't be near enough to pay for all the food these people eat, so how do they do it? You find time (and money) for what you really want to do.

I imagine. I saw one show where the guy had a bucket and would lower it and some money down to the street and get his take out that way since he couldn’t get out of the house. American ingenuity at its finest.

But ingenuity perverted for a base purpose.
