I received a signed COLB this AM. It is in a PDF format. I cannot find how to paste it into the post ? I don't now if it's real, but appears to be from a law firm last night at approx. 11:30 PM.

Does anyone know if a PDF file can be posted ?

Fake, fake fake. You can see where they use white out and re-did it. That’s why some of the lines are missing in certain areas.

Point taken. Also keep in mind the Nordyke certificate is a copy of the original. The copy was issued several years later. I am still regarding all as fake for one reason. If you got your hands on a real one, would you post it on the itnernet? Anyone that does, needs to look up the word discreet and discretion in the dictionary. There is no way I would mention a word on FR or anywhere else. I would make sure it was in the right hands and I have no intention of saying whose hands those are.

That one, I’m not sure about. However, after all this time, you would think someone would have come up with a BC from that same place, same year, to compare it with.

I think the document you posted complements the "Lucas Smith Kenyan Birth Certificate", which is linked below. The hospitals (CPGH) and the birthdates (August 4, 1961) on the two documents match. Mr. Smith affirmed on an affidavit presented to federal Judge David O. Carter, who is hearing the case in Santa Ana, CA, that he personally obtained the the BC at the CPGH in February 2009.

I have been closely following Lucas Smith and the postings on his InspectorSmith YouTube channel since its inception several months ago. I believe he has submitted to the court a document that is very likely authentic and which he definitely believes to be authentic. Unfortunately, officals in Kenya (probably under conditions of extreme duress) apparently are not willing to authenticate the document.

It is my understanding that the date (17 February 1964) on which the Deputy Registrar signed the document you posted, is consistent with the time Stanley Ann Dunham, Obama's mother, was seeking a divorce from Barack Obama Sr. It is theorized that she needed to obtain the Obama Jr. BC at this time in order to comply with the customary custody arrangements involved with divorce cases.

Probably pretty early to make a judgment about this document.

Lots of times, states have statutes with a sub-number like this; repeal it; later adopt something else with the earlier number. In order to determine what the merits of this argument are, you need to look carefully at the state legislative history documents for the statute.

See what the statute said in 1961.

Note also that the statute reference is not part of the printed form. It isn't typed on the same line as the remainder of the filing note.

Note also that the first number 1 typed on line 33 has a broken right foot; the number 1 on line 33 in the statute citation is not broken which suggests that the statutory reference was typed later.

Another possible explanation for this situation is that the file was pulled at some later date; Hawaii Department of Public Health was looking for some legal authority on which to issue a COLB so they took this and added the statutory citation so they could announce that they had a legal basis for issue of a COLB.

The other issues that have been raised about this document appear to have been resolved.

Good catch by David spotting the “broken foot” on the one typewriter.

The unevenness of the last line indicates it was typed at a minimum using multiple insertions of the form. These insertions could easily have been separated in time with one insertion in 1961 and the other after the statute that is referenced was passed.

I find it to be significant that so far no one has claimed to have “punked birthers” with this document. Someone has the original and they might have a lot of leverage over Obama or they might have had an “accident” among other possibilities.
