Perhaps she felt it was time to save her soul. I’d say, “about time.”

There is a fascinating book on this subject called This House of Brede by Rumer Godden.
Great read.

What’s the difference between a nun at prayer and Lady Ga Ga taking a bath?
A nun has hope in her soul. (You’ve got to think about it, but not too long or you could hurt yourself.)

if i lived during the middle ages, i would have become a nun... i do sometimes have daydreams of being a nun... even as a young girl i would daydream about that... i know i have completely romanticized what it would be like... even more appealing to me is the idea of being a monk! haha...

St. Augustine also said,
“O Lord, make me a saint! But not yet!”
BTW, his long-suffering mother St. Monica insured through her prayers that he would indeed achieve sainthood.

Can't imagine her having the kind of glamorous life she claims to have had. I am happy, that she has turned her life around though. Serving God rather than our selves is a very rewarding thing to do.
