The queers win another round. Related articles posted last week; but, this cut of Johnson from the team is just another indication that the PC NFL is going the wrong way. With Rush Limbaugh being cut from prospective ownership and this incident, I am no longer a fan of the NFL.

The NFL is for suckers. After they smeared Rush - I have ZERO interest.

Well he had become a low production problem child before unburdening himself on queers. Not surprised. Too bad he isn’t a pro-bowl tackle; something the Redskins could use.

Unfortunately the queers will take credit but Larry had been nothing but trouble recently and with the Chiefs so bad they are in rebuilding mode and LJ is too expensive.

“The NFL is for suckers. After they smeared Rush - I have ZERO interest.”

I have all but turned off the NFL as well for their political correctness. I watched about five minutes of the Bears game Sunday and that was it. If you like football, college football is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better. That’s what I watch. I don’t like the wording of the article. How can they call Johnson a “troubled” person? Just because he makes an anti-gay comment? Let the Kansas City Chiefs change their colors to pink. I don’t care about the NFL anymore. I’m done with them.

The queers win another round.

He did attack his coach, though. That and the fact he is washed up probably are the main reasons he was released.

There are players who have killed other people while drinking and driving. There are hundreds of fellons. Several are still playing that have served jail time. The drug charges alone are staggering.

Larry Johnson is not angel but if he is being released because he tweeted something that offended people who don’t even watch football, the NFL is indeed as Rush has said.

And that is sad.

You’re right about the NFL. But Johnson’s queer slurs were just the tip of the iceberg. He’s assaulted a couple women in the last few years along with the fact he’s become a real cancer in the locker room along with publicly attacking Todd Haley. The Chiefs are really bad and Johnson had become a highly overpaid cancer.

The only reason LJ was on the roster was because he was Carl Peterson’s boy, and signed to a huge contract. Once King Carl was gone, the Chiefs were left with a high priced, low output running back, who can’t block with any consistency, that had problems with women, and made derogatory comments about the organization and the city on a relatively regular basis. He publicly bad mouthed the new coach, and had yet another accusation of bad behavior made against him, even before his fag comments.

The Twitter comment was just an excuse for the organization to cut some dead weight, w/o getting dinged too hard on the salary cap; nothing more, nothing less.

You might be right, but Larry Johnson is the absolute worst "poster boy" for anyone with an anti-PC mindset.

The guy was a flaming @sshole who antagonized everyone in the organization. He just gave the team an excuse to do what they've been wanting to do for a long time.

From what I've read, this was partly driven by pressure from the team's fans who didn't want him to break the team's all-time rushing record.

Actually, Johnson was already such a bad influence on the team, the Chiefs looked for any excuse to cut the player. You forget other players in the Chiefs’ locker room disliked Johnson and head coach Todd Haley clashed with Johnson quite a bit this season, too.

Good god, you're a FReeper man! The ink on this is all smoke and mirrors and has nothing to do with the KC "fans." The whole attack on Johnson is coordinated by the militant, intolerant and highly organized gay lobby. Even a minority falls below the gays as a protected group.
