Al Gore, George Soros and other Carbon Pirates have got Congress to fund and direct Billions of dollars towards Green Energy and Carbon Control projects based on bogus data claims. These data claims stem from the recently hacked Climate Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia in the UK.
The CRU was set up by the US Dept. of Energy at this university. Why not a US university? It could be because the UK, for the longest time, had no Freedom of Information Act, like the US does. Youll soon see why these scientists and the Dept. of Energy wanted to keep the data a secret or unverifiable. Because the outcomes and the analysis of the data are purely political (Scientists likely paid or on payroll to do so), it has not factual or scientific basis whatsoever.
How do we know this to be true? Because recently, 3000 e-mails of the Scientists conducting the research at the CRU were hacked, along with several data files. While the e-mails are quite damming, the data files are the guts of the CRU's actual computer modelsthe data, the code and the applications. It is really the blatant manipulation of the data that is the dagger to the heart of the Global Warming Myth.
The Harry data file. Data manipulation of temperature data from 2006-2009
One of the largest data files recovered was a file processed and logged by Ian "Harry" Harris at the CRU. As youll see on this tour of this data file, Harry records comments and explains his trial and tribulations to skew the data into a form that supports a global warming trend, though the data indicated with scientific certainty that the average temperature has declined over the last 100 years, Harry attempts to reverse this.
The data file is named HARRY_READ_ME.txt. The first line of this file reads:
READ ME for Harry's work on the CRU TS2.1/3.0 datasets, 2006-2009!. First, Harry indicates hes identified the locations of the 2006-2009 temperature data files and the databases for performing t-mean. For those not familiar with Statistical Math (Stats), T-mean refers to a T-Test of a Difference of Means. A Mean in Stats means the average of a given set of values. So if you have multiple data sets (as we do with temperatures ranging over different periods of time between 2006-2009), Harry needs to figure out what the average difference of these averages are in other words, the average of all averages across all data sets.
Creating Global Temperature Anomaly files and excluding risky values
Next, Harry regenerates the Global Temperature anomalies into a separate data file using the existing data files. He uses a Fortran 90 (Science/Math programming language) program (anomdtb.f90) to data-mine these existing data files to extract any temperature anomalies and separates these temps by writing them to different files. Harrys comment confirming this:
Successfully ran anomdtb.f90 to produce anomaly files (as per item 7 Had to make some changes to allow for the move back to alphas (different field length from the 'wc -l' command). The wc command in the Linux operating system stands for word count and gives you the number of characters, words or lines contained in a file. Alphas or Alpha values measure the risk of getting a Type I error. A Type I error in Statistics (Stats Math) means the conclusion is incorrect for the data and the hypothesis must be rejected. Harrys comment indicates there are numerous Alpha values and as such, would lend to a high risk of producing a Type I error. However, Harry (by his comment) isnt using the data set with Alpha values, but instead using an alternate data set he created without them!
Mapping Global Carbon Emissions Totals to a Standard Grid Model
Harrys next step is to map the global totals of carbon emissions (carbon emissions is what Gore/Obama etc. want to tax the hell out of you for) onto a standard model grid. Think of a model grid as a series of plotting points on a map. The goal here is to have these carbon emission totals plotted on a grid that represents a time scale. The term regridding means to execute a program to re-create the model. There are a number of ways to produce the image file representing this model (.glo) file, and Harry is asking why not use Fortran to generate this file instead an IDL routine:
Successfully ran the IDL regridding routine quick_interp_tdm.pro (why IDL?! Why not F90?!) to produce '.glo' files.
BTTT
LOL. A picture is worth a thousand words.

I need to be civil and not frothing at the mouth like I am right now....
Momentum grows for Copenhagen climate deal ( According to Reuters)
USDOE has definitely funded projects within Hadley CRU. Somewhere on their website I ran across a page that lists a couple of them.
The questions are:
1) Did USDOE *start up* Hadley CRU?
2) Did they do so explicitly to get around US FOI laws?
Those two assertions by the author are not well supported (yet).
