Those "several family members' who assisted him need a death sentence: They are complicit in murder, after the fact.

Our society is crumbling before our eyes.

KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported on how Clemmons’ associates may be trying to throw investigators off his trail. They provided him money, places to stay, and done things to distract law enforcement.

When they could of been collecting 120,000 in reward money, not these idiots are facing time behind bars. Hopefully a long time.

Was there ever any doubt about the outcome?

Cops: "Hold it right there. You are under arrest! Drop your weapon and put up your hands!"

After a "nano-second" of "hesitation" by the "suspected" perp: "Bang, bang, bang.

Sorry, he was "resisting arrest!"

' Case closed!

Good riddance to bad rubbish and Hoorah to LEO's who took down this scumbag!

Good! Let's hope we don't hear any whining about how they used "excessive force".

Several family members reportedly helped Clemmons over the last two days.

They should be shot too.

When they could of been collecting 120,000 in reward money, now these idiots are facing time behind bars.

My guess is that anybody whose relationship with him was such that they'd be inclined to help him, was already a fugitive facing plenty of years behind bars, and therefore had no interest in making contact with police. Sure, these reward offers usually say "you don't have to identify yourself", but if you're a fugitive facing hard time, you'd take that with a grain of salt.

Great news this morning. May legions of devils escort that man to his final resting place.

Good that he’s dead. In keeping up with the story and the man’s background and saw where he has attacked family members and intimidated them over the years. To be fair (I know, I know) could there be the possibility that the family was afraid not to help him? He had a gun and they knew it. They also knew his history of mental problems.

I hope they charge the family members who helped him as accessories after the fact. I hope they are convicted and sentence to 97 years. But then the nut case governor of the state of Washington will likely pardon them so they can escalate their criminal behavior.

What might be interesting would be for the district attorney to indict the two judges who let the child rapist out on $15,000.00 bond as accessories before the fact in the murders because they should have known from his prior encounters he was a threat to commit more violent crimes.

Presumably over the last 24 hours or so he slept at some point. Do you suppose then they could have all left the house, each with their individual cell phones in hand and perhaps called the cops?

But you’re right...they probably had no choice. They was hostages, now that they think about it.

Nah, I wish they took him alive and tortured the f—k. Shooting him was too easy on him.

Not one of those cops would disagree with that... but it’s tough to pull off and walk away from. ;>)

I hope he felt every round, survived for a few minutes and was scared to death.

I’m not sure about the lesson you say that learned and I doubt that it was the one that you should.

I am likely the wrong one to discuss it with, as I was one of those guys for 30 years. I can tell you this, if I wasn’t already retired from duty related injuries (coming up on 8 years retired), I would have gladly joined in the effort... for free.
