What's up with the Drudge Report? The news is flat and the coverage is not as crisp as it used to be. Sometimes things of interest go unreported (cyber Monday, for example) but silly Hollywood stuff IS reported (for filler, perhaps). Sometimes the subject is repeated twice on the page; sometimes different articles on the same subject are filed in different sections of the page.
I thought Drudge relocated to Florida?
I too have noticed that he isn’t as current as he once was. I suppose success takes the edge off.
Good point. I rarely go to Drudge’s site. Why bother, when FR has it all and more.

Matt Drudge now lives in Miami Beach. Hired editors do most of the work on the Drudge Report. This makes for differences in story selection and emphasis.
Drudge loves weather stories, too.
It’s been slow this week.
I remember that when I was tracking the healthcare bill throught the house and senate that Drudge was there with quick updates.

I noticed that too. They definitely have gotten lazy over there. You can tell when Matt is hopped up on a story and really giving it his all but often they let obvious memes slide. I miss the Lewinsky glory days.
Say, do you happen to have any idea what he thinks of Governor Palin?
