My sister would drink non-stop all day. Vodka I think. Would go through a bottle a day. Two or three times she got DUI with over .30 She got sober for 7 years, took some Nyquil for a cold, and got back to a bottle a day in a few days.

Wonderful, loving gal - even when drunk. Died on her 60th birthday from the drinking and the smoking. Each time she would go to the hospital from the booze her doctor would tell her “one more time like this and you won’t make it”. I can’t remember how many times they said that! Sad to see such a wasted life.

You would be amazed at human capability. I used to be a Critical Care physician. I once treated a nurse who had a blood alcohol over .700. Couple of days on the ventilator and some vitamins and he was good to go. Before discharge I asked him if he wanted help with his drinking. He replied No, he was doing fine partying on his own.

I don’t care if she was over the BAC or not; that woman’s a slut.

Ultimately, she turned herself around very well, but she simply could not live in Los Angeles with all the hoo-hah, and moved back her home town and completely quit drinking.

It is nice to get an occasional good news outcome.

The highest reading I've ever seen for a driver was .26 or .27. I'm dubious .385 is accurate.

It's metric.

"No, he was doing fine partying on his own."

I wonder if Darwin's law of natural selection ever caught up with that young (presumably) man.
