I have one and they do work great. Ink quality varies, depending on which you buy. I use it mainly to print covers on DVD’s. I take my movies from my video cameras, put the good clips together, make DVD, print a nice cover, send them to friends and family.
Lines in the photos are most often the result of a clog in one of the ink nozzles. The holes that the ink goes through are incredibly small. Usually, there’s a utility to clean the print head and test the printer. Use it sparingly, as it uses up quite a bit of ink.
It’s also possible that your software sometimes puts a glitch in the print file when it goes to the printer, but that’s less common.
