No their arguments will not catch on with the public.

Unfortunately - Sarah Palin has produced a derangement syndrome akin to Bush Derangement Syndrome,

The mention of her name is TOXIC to certain koolaid drinkers - I work with several of these and have several in my family

I don’t think anything will change that fact. Unfortunately.

There is a BIG difference. Bush took it all. Sarah dishes it back with a front end loader and a laugh.

And am glad she does - it’s fantastic!

But the deranged will NOT change their minds....

It is a mental illness that truly cannot easily be overcome.

Believe me - those with this affliction are in the grip of something that holds them fast like a vise.

McCain would hire a democrat to run his campaign.

McCain DID hire a Democrat to run his campaign: Mark McKinnon.

How long before that hat is the hottest-selling piece of merchandise in America?

I saw one on a college student at the grocery store this morning, same color, but a two-button model. Sorry to say I saw a large display of these olive drab caps in the fall, at Target, I think. I made a comment they're trying to bring Mao back. Now that Sarah's wearing it, I like it way better.

Hilarious! That's the first thing I thought, too!

Check THIS out!
It's actually called the "Mao Hat".

HOWEVER... this is not the hat worn by Sarah. Sarah's hat looked like wool and had no strap across the front (above the brim). I think Sarah has a (so far ) secret source for her hat, because nobody that I'm aware of has come up with the exact same model yet.

Since they just pulled that zany "Why is Palin wearing a CASTRO hat?" thread, I'll post this HERE, from www.twirlit.com -- for all the LINKS to possible hat sources:
Sarah Palin’s Hot Hat

By Amanda Pendolino on December 7th, 2009

sarah-palin-hat-1

As much as I’m not a fan of Sarah Palin, I have to admit that she can rock a hat.

The former Vice Presidential candidate appeared in Iowa yesterday to promote her new book Going Rogue, and according to the UK’s Times Online, she chose to shield her brown curls from the snow with a green topper that was a little bit army, a little bit newsboy.

There’s no word on who designed the Palinator’s headwear, so definitely comment if you recognize it. Although most stores have now  focused their hat collections on warm winter knits, Express has a glammed-up version in black and gray that’s on sale for $22.

Anthropologie also offers a few versions of the style, including a cozy plaid one for $38, a rounded woolen newsboy in black and purple for $28, a chunky light gray cap for $32 and a button-embellished hat for $34.

UK fave Ted Baker has a sleek, round version of the newsboy hat with a bow detail in gray and red for £45. For a more expensive designer version, try Heather Huey’s black cap with felt hooks for $133 at Bluefly.com.

Classic Burberry plaid goes for $100 on Overstock.com - and Overstock also has some of the only army green ones I could find, including these star-embellished Hailey Hats for $17.

Your cheapest option is probably Forever 21’s black wool cadet hat for $6.80.
