Palin takes a shot at steve schmidt, telling #gridiron: "if I ever need a bald campaign mgr,it appears all I am left w is james carville."

Palin made a speech to the gridiron club. a club which is made up of DC media. It is held twice a year and usally has one GOP and one DEM give funny/snarky speeches. the last one had wanda spikes saying she hoped limbaugh died
This few line comment from Twitter did not belong in the topic activism and had to be moved. The activism topic is reserved for Free Republic Activism and Chapters.

They show the WH Correspondents Dinner, but not the Gridiron Club. The GC has been known to be raucus in the past and they have a no video clause. I don’t know how that’s working now with all the video phones.

today was the first time they allowed twitters in. I think it was an attempt to allow news to get out but keep it as private as possible
I don’t even know why it is a “joke”. There is some justified confusion for folks trying to figure out which adminstration is more Mao-esque: Hussein’s or the Chinese.
this is hilarious..John King of CNN is there, and Barney’s Frank is speaking right now and King is staring at Sarah getting her reaction from his jokes. They say she is irrelevant yet they are glued to her every move
