So true my boxador she will eat anything and when I come home from work my wife tells me when she hears me pull up in the drive she sets and the stands and then sets not know what to do until I come through the door. Then it's ok what did you bring me home to eat from your lunch for that day. That dog will everything from green beans to bananas.

My Labs love bananas, sweet corn, blue berries, raspberries, melons, apples, etc. They will pick their own, too. I've learned to never take them berry picking. They eat them faster than I can pick 'em. My yellow female thinks that any melons I grow are hers, too.

Back in the mid 90's my engineering company did a couple of work stints in Israel as a contractor to Nortel. I had eaten a melon over there called the "Ogen" melon, named for a particular region there. They are about the size of a softball and they are delicious, sort of like a honey dew, but I'd never been able to find seeds here. I finally found a source on seeds and planted some. My lab Myrtle ate every one of them....
