There was that John Carpenter film “Prince of Darkness” that involed someone in the future beaming back “dreams” as a warning.

Not Total Recall ...more like a B-ish movie but fairly well done.
The guy kept syncing in and out with static and such...like TV when I was a kid.

This sounds like John Carpenter’s ‘Prince of Darkness,’ where someone in the future is sending a message back in time to avoid an event that turns out to be catastrophic.

It’s a pretty bad movie.

Sounds a little like “12 monkeys” starring Bruce Willis.

Is it Village of the Damned? That happened several times - the people fall asleep and hear what sounds like a garbled radio message several times, and only at the end to you hear that it is being broadcast by the people themselves from the future.

Doesn’t ring a bell with me. But I wonder if anyone remembers an 80’s sci/fi stinker about a young lady in Paris you was shacking up with a demon. The thing kind of looked like a human leg with tentacles. For the life of me I cant’ recall the title. Anyone?
