A statue of President Barack Obama as a boy erected in a Jakarta park has been targeted in a Facebook campaign by thousands who say it should be removed. Many Indonesians are proud of the fact that Obama lived in Jakarta from 1967 to 1971 with his American mother, his Indonesian stepfather and his half-sister.

He went by the name "Barry," attended the local elementary school near where his statue now stands and owned a pet monkey.

LOL! It is bad. Like it was made at a Hershey factory with those machines that make chocolate Easter bunnies.

"The statue cost more than $10,000. The money was donated by eight Indonesian patrons, a television station and a disaster relief charity."

Well, that's money well spent for disaster relief. I would ask for my donation back immediately! Outrageous.

The monkey grew into a gorilla who later became the first lady.

"...Like it was made at a Hershey factory..."

I could have made a better one in my own personal Hershey factory, not only for half the price but with corn and chunks of bell peppers mixed in.

"It's ridiculous. I'm shocked," Mullers, chairman of the local nonpolitical Friends of Obama Foundation, calling the move against the statue political.

That's actually pretty to read.

It’s his “Peace Prize”. I want to see the photo a year from now when it’s covered with bird droppings.

Note that ONLY a foreign country has laid claim to Barry Soetoro. No hospital, doctor, or witness has stepped forward to state they were there, when he was born!

So we have a statue of Obama, but wheres the hospital plaque going in? Mombassa Kenya?

According to school records in Indonesia, Barack Hussein Obama Jr. was adopted by Lolo Soetoro. They called him Barry Soetoro. Now, will he admit he is ineligible to be President? He cannot be a natural-born citizen if he is a citizen of Indonesia, nor if he is a naturalized citizen of the U.S., which is unlikely since he doesn’t have citizenship papers. Collenge entrance info would show he was a foreign exchange student. No wonder he is hiding all his documents. If only Claire McCaskill would expose Obama for the fraud he is before he ruins this country.

Not to be cruel, but what's up with the guy on the far left carrying the stretcher? He looks like the canonical picture of a neanderthal man!

Ohhhhhhhhh a, : /ˈχɬʊl.ɬuː/ ?).[ !
Got-it.
Why didn'tcha say to begin with. LOL

"...which reminds me a lot of the Kenyan."

Reading the description I can understand why you'd choose It. Except zerO's not fiction (science, or otherwise), It is very real. Most unfortunate for us. I'd really rather deal with the creature, myself.
Thanks, my friend.

Being a lover of 50s scifi my first instinct's to ask why Hollyweird hasn't gloomed onto this thing for a future motion picture; but, in the light of reality concerning that despicable town the question literally answers itself. ;^)
