NEW YORK (AP) — NBA great Charles Barkley says Tiger Woods changed his cell phone number the day after his car accident and is not talking to some of his famous friends.
On a show that airs on Sunday on news network HLN, Barkley and filmmaker Spike Lee worry that Woods isn't taking advantage of the invaluable advice that can only be offered by friends who are used to the spotlight.
You should reach out to your celebrity friends when things go bad," Barkley told The Associated Press in a phone interview on Tuesday. "They're the only people who understand what it's like."
Barkley appears on "With All Due Respect" with two other Turner Sports analysts, baseball Hall of Famer Dennis Eckersley and longtime NASCAR driver Kyle Petty. Lee is one of the guests in the one-hour special during which the sports stars discuss a variety of topics.
"He's insulated," Lee said during the taping for the show. "If Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan can't get to him, and those are his boys, then other people are making bad moves."

This poor guy. Jackson and Sharpton have no means to get a hold of him.
Hoepfully this is Tiger seperating himself off from these bad influences and the whores. Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan strike me as two men to keep off the list when one is trying to practice positive moral behavior.
Staying away from Barkley and Jordan may be a smart thing to do if the tabloids are right.

Barkley should have kept his yap shut. He's not helping his friend, if Tiger ever was a real friend of Barkley. No doubt in my mind that Chuck was an enabler.
These are exactly the type of people that helped get him into this mess, assuming he needed much help. What advice could they give?
Tiger should only be taking calls and seeking advice from the Great Reverend “Neon” Deion Sanders.
Dat Rev., Sanders helped Michael Irvin with his drug problems and white ho’s.
Charles just wants a piece of the action with the white wimmins.
Where were these guys when Tiger was whoring around on his wife? They knew what he was doing and were probably partaking in it themselves.
First thing they say when you are trying to kick a bad habit is to get away from friends who support your bad habit. Maybe that's why he's not talking to them.

Tiger needs to accept Christ, get some serious christian counselling and retreat from the phony media world and get his personal life and marriage back together. After that the greatest golfer who’s ever lived (by God’s gift) can come back and be a testimony for all of us! Noone is more willing to forgive Tiger than a true Christian. Pray for Him and his family.
Finally, a story with a named source, talking about something that is very likely true. I think I'll add this one to my little pile of Tiger facts!
