This should be a headline everywhere. Especially NOW.

Here's a video that goes over the past 400,000 years and the interglacial periods:
Global Cooling.

Certainly over time scales of hundreds to thousands of years, we are more concerned with anthropogenic effects on climate, as the Earth heats up in response to emissions of carbon dioxideNo it isn't, and we shouldn't. It was as warm or warmer in 1000 AD than it is today. That's a scale of a mere thousand years and the AGW theory can't explain that.

I live near Raleigh,NC. This weekend it's supposed to be cold with rain or snow. For the third weekend in a row, I won't get to golf. I think I'll write my Senator Kay Hagin (D) about this catastrophe.

“as the Earth heats up in response to emissions of carbon dioxide”
Is there any RELIABLE evidence that the Earth is heating up?
NO
Is there any RELIABLE evidence that the Earth is heating up in response to emissions of carbon dioxide?
NO
Is the Earth getting colder? YES
How do I know that?
A good guess since I am currently sitting about 100 yards from the Black Sea, its about 0 degrees f, we had a blizzard that knocked out power in most of Southern Ukraine and put over a foot of snow on the ground, and I froze my butt last night with no heat AND everyone here says its the first time in anyones memory that this has happened here in the middle of December.
Al Gore is a fraud who needs to be in Prison.

>>Perhaps Robert Frost foresaw this in his poem, “Fire and Ice”
From memory:
Some say the world will end in fire
Some say in ice
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire
But if it had to perish twice
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction
Ice is also great, and would suffice

“Certainly over time scales of hundreds to thousands of years, we are more concerned with anthropogenic effects on climate, as the Earth heats up in response to emissions of carbon dioxide. But only time will tell where the Earths climate will drift over millions of years.”
1) Temps. seem to rise about 800 years BEFORE the CO2 levels rise.
2) Regardless, manmade CO2 only accounts for about 0.118% of the greenhouse effect.
3) The last interglacial warm period lasted about 13,000 to 15,000 years. We are on about year 12,000 for our current warm period. (Note: Past results are no guarantees of future events.)

If this looks like it really would happen we could try terraforming - open a sea lane through the Isthmus of Panama. Some people think it's closure is what caused the Quaternary.
