The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 26% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15 (see trends).
Early this coming week, Rasmussen Reports will release our first look at the North Dakota Senate race and another set of general election match-ups in Illinois. Those will be our final election poll releases for 2009.
We will release new polling data every day through the holiday season. However, towards the end of the week we will take a couple of days off from calling people and updating the Presidential Tracking Poll.
Check out our review of last week’s key polls to see “What They Told Us.” As the Senate prepares to vote on proposed health care reform legislation, most voters say they’d rather see nothing passed. On Monday morning, Rasmussen Reports will release our weekly tracking data on the health care plan (see last week’s data).
The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates are also available on Twitter and Facebook.

I would look for a 50% plus strongly disapprove by Christmas as the Abortion known as Obamacare is passed by these morons.
At least this is getting good. If the Republicans have any backbone the rest of 2010, it will continue to be a bloodbath for Obama.

I long for the day when strongly disapprove goes above 50%.
As soon as the average dem voter realizes that Obamacare is not free, is not available and they will get higher taxes regardless of income level, the Strongly Disapproves will climb.

Don’t forget, communist dictators ALWAYS keep the people down and literally count the votes so they always win the “elections”. We are quickly approaching the time when the only means we have at our disposal is to remove the commie from the WH using any means necessary.
Another 30 million socialist voters to insure the 'rats stay in power forever. The push will be to enact, possibly prior to 2010 elections, but definitely in time for 2012.

and that we be easier if we have high numbers of strongly disapprove. the higher the strongly disapprove, the more sane a decent people we have in this country. and that is always some comfort and encouragement. can’t do much if most people strongly approve. there is hope if most people strongly disapprove.

I think everybody except the far left Koolaid drinkers are finally realizing that the country has elected a Marxist Communist Socialist Fascist extremist as president who is out to destroy this country and bring it to its knees. Obama hates this country and all that it stands for which has been drummed into him by such folks as Reverend Wright, Bill Ayers, his wife, and by reading Saul Alinsky and listening to George Soros for advice.
Oh sure. He gets to take some days off but we're stuck with the lot in DC.
