Steorn Announces Public Demonstration of Orbo Technology
Steorn.com ^ | Dec 15, 2009 | Steorn

Posted on 12/28/2009 8:15:41 AM PST by Normandy

Steorn is pleased to announce that public demonstrations of its controversial Orbo technology will begin today in Dublin and continue for the next six weeks.

Orbo technology, which has been in development for six years, provides free, clean and constant energy at the point of use. It can be engineered to power anything from a phone to a fridge to a car. It is controversial because it is an "over-unity" technology, meaning that it produces more energy than it consumes without the degradation of its constituent parts. This is an apparent violation of the Law of Conservation of Energy, which states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. The implications, not just for energy production but for society as a whole, are profound.

The public demonstrations - which will include live test and replication sessions - will take place in the Waterways Visitor Centre, Grand Canal Basin, Dublin. They begin today, 15th December 2009 and will run until 31st January 2010 (with a break between December 24th and January 4th, inclusive). The demonstrations will also be streamed live at www.steorn.com/orbo.

"This is a pivotal moment for the company," said Sean McCarthy, Steorn CEO, "and potentially, for us as a species. There exists now an opportunity to change everything. At the end of the six week demonstration period, developers will be able to access our technology and start the process of developing Orbo technology-powered products. The Waterways demonstration is the beginning of the Orbo revolution."

I’ll run out and buy some stock in the company as soon as I can figure out how to make the money in my wallet to produce “over unity”.

Sort of reminds one of Obamanomics?

They tried this already and failed. Why will it be different this time?

At least they have a working prototype this time. Last time out the heat lamps or something wrecked their demo.

For their next trick they will demonstrate the "over unity restaurant" so there will finally be such a thing as a free lunch.

If they claim over unity energy production they are either sneaking it in from outside or consuming some energy of fuel inside so it will only last for a limited time.

There is no gravity, black is white, up is down, something from nothing.

We've got the makings of a lefty credo.

It isn’t really “over unity,” you know. They have managed to, unknowingly, harness a mysterious energy that is entering the earth’s atmosphere from the Cosmos. I would explain it further but you wouldn’t understand it - and neither would I.

Battery spins motor, motor spins generator, charges battery.

Hmm, ok so how about just removing the battery and give it a good spin or just disconnect the battery after its up to speed and see if it maintains speed. Chances are it will just get slower and slower and stop.

A few short years ago I too would have sneered at this concept, but after watching our economy of late I’m not so sure. Getting something for nothing out a mechanical device doesn’t seem so unrelated to watching the stock market climb and climb in view of all the horrific things that are being done to our economy.

Now I’m just reduced to shaking my head and muttering “Hmmmmm”

I certainly understand the skepticism - after all nothing like this has panned out before and it violates all known principles of physics.

However, despite previous failures this company seems to be legitimate and they are certainly acting like they have what they say.

I think we’ll know a lot better by the end of January.

IF something like this does work, I believe that it’s just tapping into an energy source we currently don’t know about and/or don’t believe there’s anything to tap into.

I don’t believe human beings can violate the laws of conservation of energy, it has to have a source most of us have no clue about.

It would be like Tesla’s car that tapped into energy in the ‘ether’ - there was energy to be tapped, people just didn’t know about it.

Yes - if they have anything I would guess they stumbled across a source that we don’t understand. They say they came across the “magnetic anomoly” accidentally and don’t claim to understand the source of the energy.
