The owner of a gay sex club in NYC reportedly said the following in the mid-1990s:
If I were to get AIDS today, its my own f***ing fault. I deserve it.
Agree or disagree?

Reagan’s fault.
Reagan AND Bush’s fault/
I guess if I said it was the perverts fault I would be condemned?
If you get AID’s today from sex is is your fault, but according to today’s standards the responsibility resides in the taxpayer.....
If you knowingly give AIDS to someone else you are culpable for their medical costs and ultimately their death as well. Or at least that is the way it should be.
We’ve known how to prevent AIDS since 1983.
That we still have it today is a testament to the gay coimmunity’s refusal to practice safe sex. Even AIDS infected gays have unprotected sex.
I am sick of World AIDS day, and “We must spend more to stop the spread of AIDS”.
You first, gays.
If we spent one fourth the money on cancer we spent on the worldwide guilt trip on AIDS the gays have made us ride for the last 25 years, cancer would have gone the way of polio by now.
AMEN!

Most of those that contract HIV do so because of irresponsible behavior — engaging in promiscuity, sodomy or IV drug use.
If you follow the Bible’s rules for sexual conduct you will not get AIDS. Oh golly, I think I just hate crimed.
Can’t be Bush’s fault — one of the first things he did after he was elected was to send $15 billion to Africa to fight AIDS. That’s when I knew he was just another liberal spreading other people’s money unneccesarily without demanding an account for it.
You’re right about the second part, but to the card carrying Leftie, all things negative can be traced to Bush.
If I get fat, it’s my fault for eating too much.
If I am poor, it’s my fault for spending more than I made.
If I am discontent, it’s my fault for not pursuing my dreams.
If I am not properly educated, it’s my fault for being lazy.
If I get a woman pregnant, it’s my fault for having unprotected sex.
If I rob a store, it’s my fault for going to jail.
If I steal a car, it’s my fault if I get shot.
If I have an affair, it’s my fault for ruining my marriage.
If I’m hateful to my children, it’s my fault if they hate me.
If I’m spiteful to other people, it’s my fault if I have no friends.
So, yes, I would say that if I had consensual unprotected sex and became HIV positive, it would be my fault. Who else could I rationally blame? The only possible exception would be someone who has been in a monogamous relationship for 10+ years and had absolutely no reason to believe their spouse would cheat on them; e.g., a housewife who suddenly finds out she has herpes because her husband picked up a prostitute.
Our lives are the sum cumulative total of the choices we have made up until this point in time. You can’t start taking control of your circumstances until you own them.
Gay’s gift to mankind.
Which part of Fat Guys post did you not understand? Gods Word, the Bible clearly tells us how to live. Live that way, even in marriage, and AIDS is moot.
What did you not understand? A woman who is living the way she should can still get Aids from a husband that is a “closet homo”. Wake up.
Then there was obviously NOT someone living right, was there? A monogamous, faithful marriage excludes AIDS. As well as other things. My wife and I both are IMMUNE from AIDS, thanks to that.
Fully awake here. Sounds like you want an excuse to dismiss the benefits of the Bible and what it teaches.
