Actually, about a year ago we had a spate of this. Probably the last fishing season.
What was shown was an expose on whale meat in Japanese markets and the lack of published science.
If you care enough, really, you can research it.

Look, it is simple. Manage the resources. Overfishing/underfishing/overregulation/underregulation whether it is forrest land, tuna stocks, crab, ranching, etc. causes problems.
Perhaps you want unregulated fishing of American waters by third world countries. Perhaps you don't care if whale populations crash. Perhaps you don't care about tuna or fresh water fish either. If so, well, what can I say?
