Last year I heard this aging country singer on a small stage. He sang a song that struck home about a wayward son that was in some trouble. I don't know the name of the song, but it was one of his first. As he went to assist his troubled son, he appealed saying "He's a part of me, he's one of mine." or some such. I would very much like to know the name of that song so I could make the purchase or download. I have looked for the song title and checked lyrics but can't locate it. I would be grateful for any help.
God Bless you Jess. If I can ever return the favor let me know. I have expertise on animal health mostly. Thank you again.
My pleasure FRiend...enjoy. You got good taste!
Never heard of it. But went to your link and read the lyrics, and now my screen is all blurry.

Pretty song...only tough guys and women will like it...
Wow. I just lost my dad last month...this one’s got me good. Thank goodness there’s no one here to see me blubber.
Sorry for your loss, but time will bring you some peace. Dad died in 96 and Mom in 98. Rarely a day passes that I don’t hear their voices from the past.
