Which makes the irony even thicker.

Only liberals could lionize a man (and keep him in The Senate for half a century) who was having an affair with a young girl, got drunk, drove off a bridge, saved his own sorry ass and allowed her to drown, after which he spent the night looking for (paid) volunteers to say that they were driving the car. Meanwhile, if a conservative jaywalks, we drive him out of office as unworthy of our support. The double standard should have died with Teddy, but it surely did not.

Sometimes the good Lord sends you a gift that you weren’t expecting.
Our gift is Scott Brown.

Is there a stimulus bill tax credit for tapping the alternative energy potential of the alcohol-fueled former senator spinning in his grave?

Yes, the democrats got so busy trying to screw the Republicans, they screwed themselves. I love when that happens.

Maybe the Senate should honor Teddy by doing the will of his former constituents. Bury Obamacare with Teddy.

Actually sleep is a little death that should be avoided at all costs.

He went into relatively shallow water too. Over toward Smallwood State Park you have to be careful messing around the boat launches because it's immediately something like 128 feet deep.
Teddy would have never made it to the surface if he'd had his wreck along the Potomac!

Kennedy Seat Irony...yeah, I thought it was delicious irony never to be equalled when a bunch of Vietnam vet Swiftboaters managed to sink John Kerry's presidential campaign, after he had insulted an entire generation of those American fighting men and probably helped get thousands of them killed by encouraging North Vietnam to keep fighing after they were about defeated...but Brown's victory may just outequal that irony.....
To: dangerdoc
God has a harsh sense of humor in how events are ordered.
The Kennedy worshipers must realize the irony you mention.

"They cant be bargained with. They cant be reasoned with. They doesnt feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And they absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead, broke or both."Like I said ... they have to die.
Now, that's not a call to arms or evil doing ... just a statement of fact.
