DARN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He’s going to stay home and “Shock” his Monkey.
I know I'm gonna get flamed big time for saying this but it's the MTV hit-making trio that most people visualize when they think of Genesis, not the art-rock band with the crazy costumes that Gabriel fronted a decade earlier.
On a sadly related note, I've read that a back injury has ended Collins' ability to play drums.
Hopefully Steve Hackett will make it. But it also sounds that Phil can no longer play drums because of his back issues.
I enjoyed the Gabriel-era stuff, but IMHO the first two post-Gabriel albums, were Genesis’ best, outside of “The Lamb”. And Seconds Out was a great live album. It was when Hackett left that Genesis started to go downhill.
Good. I’m sorry. They were genuinely boring.
Phil Collins did some listenable stuff solo.
Otherwise, there really wasn’t much talent or creativity there. Sorry.
Where is Steve Hackett?
