Disgraced former presidential contender John Edwards and his wife have reportedly legally separated after he admitted he is the father of a baby girl whose mom he repeatedly bedded during his 2008 White House run.
After spending Christmas together with their three kids, Edwards and his wife quietly parted ways.
Edwards divides his time between a place the family calls "the barn" and the couple's beach house about 160 miles away from Chapel Hill, NC, People magazine reports in its current issue out today.
Edwards' wife, meanwhile, lives in the couple's Chapel Hill home where she's been licking her wounds.

Not to be snarky, but wasn’t the thrust of Edwards’ campaign based on Elizabeth’s “imminent” death?
From what I remember, it seemed that she had only a few months on ‘08 and would be dead prior to the elections.

I don’t feel sorry for her. She knew about his affair and was perfectly willing to keep it hidden so they could foist themselves on the American people. She is a mean vicious woman.
I wonder who's idea it was to separate, at this late juncture? I'd be willing to bet half a quid it was his idea.

Well, it is a good time. Edwards can’t get elected as dogcatcher now. And, he’s just as rich as he’ll ever be.
Gotta wonder what makes Elizabeth tick? I mean she’s a commie-idealogue as much as Hillary. And Hillary put up with Bill’s BS to gain power. What’s the diff?
She was a willing participant in his (her) campaign for The Presidency. She enabled, if not participated, in the cover-up.

I understand how you feel about this slime ball Edwards.
But if you read the books excerpts you will find that she is a piece of work to go along with him.
No prize qal she. Fact is from what I’ve read she is nearly as sleaqzy as he.
