According to unconfirmed rumors in network someone has seen the PAK FA breached Code of Silence and the national laws to describe the aircraft. PAK FA news that looks more like Su-27 instead of F-22 and F-23.
If you look at a take-off video it’s just like the F-22.
Anyone think it resembles a YF23 at that angle?
That is what I like about America, or at least traditional America; when others (Russia, China, etc) see a great piece of machinery, they wonder how they can copy it. When the U.S. sees a great piece of machinery, we wonder how we can make a better one.
Yes but the one thing I noticed was that it appears to have an external missile ‘connector’ (forgot the term) that is arcing out under the wing, that can’t be good for stealth. All the F-22 hardware’s covered until they need to fire it to reduce angles and surfaces.
More like we know we probably need to build a better one. Given the world we are living in.
What’s an F-23...?
Yes - since the YF was the development plane for the F-22 there are also similarities with that one.
If you ask me it is a F-22 wanna be.

I’ll bet Russia goes into full production and all three will be operational by 2013.
Yup, and I think we all know by now who they will sell to... I’m sure glad that BO scrapped the missile shield project/sarc
The YF-23 Black Widow was the competitor to the Raptor. It ultimately lost, but was a great airplane.
