I’d love to see Obama, the transformational one, wade into the dysfunction of the kinds of kids shown in the video segment.
The interesting thought experiment is to consider parameters like household income, HS graduation rates, utilization of welfare and government aid programs, arrest rates, incarceration rates and crime perpetration rates. Segment out by race. Then assume the effect on the national economy of elevating black parameters to the median for the non-black population. In other words - hypothecate black Americans having the same success in life as non-blacks. Then calculate the difference in the budget, in incarceration, in crime rates, you name it. Now - with the kind of difference closing that gap would make - why hasn’t the first black President come within a country mile of addressing this?
Seems to be a trend.
SENECA, S.C. — The varsity and junior varsity basketball games for Seneca and Daniel high schools will be played without fans in the stands this Friday.
School district officials from Pickens and Oconee counties sent out a news release notifying the public of their decision.
In part, it stated there was a concern for student safety following recent community events; because of that concern, Friday nights Daniel vs. Seneca varsity basketball games will be played in a closed Daniel High gym. The junior varsity games scheduled at Seneca High have been canceled altogether.
Seneca Police Chief John Covington told News 4 there are a lot of rumors going around town that a weekend drive-by shooting is the reason for the action taken by the school district. A basketball player lives at the Seneca home that was shot into by a passer-by.

Metal detectors at a high school basketball game?
They took God out of the schools, now violence and drugs set in. Even worse He’s not even allowed in a lot of the homes. Until THAT changes things will only get worse. Where this nation needs change is on the basic foundation of faith which should always begin at home at the very least. Churches and people of God need to get to work on shining that light in the darkness before we are not only having high school basketball riots but county or state wide riots. People are not happy, lost, angry, confused, not sure where to go or who to go to. Come on CHURCH, be the light.
Just wonderful-my granddaughter and great-grandson just moved to Monesson! Been there a whole two weeks!
