I don't think they were issuing SS numbers at birth when he was born in the early 60’s. In those days you applied for it when you went to work. It wasn't until later they started issuing one when you were born.
In the 70’s you could get a SSAN for a baby...it was helpful when setting up a bank college fund for the future. So maybe babies could get a SSAN if the parents applied for one. On various blogs I have read obama’s mother, Stanley Ann, had a bunch of different SSAN’s, too. And other blogs say usually that can be an indication they work for the CIA. Maybe Ron Paul is right...maybe it IS a CIA coup???
I DO know that for kids born in the 80's - you as parents had to apply for SS#s to place them on your tax returns. Numbers weren't automatically assigned even in the 80's - you had to APPLY for them...

But if he did his ice cream gig when he was 16, then this would be 1977, and he would need to go then and get a SS, just as you did and I did, and in 77 he was definitely living in Hawaii ...
So wouldn’t he have a number starting with whatever Hawaii was using????
