In some brands the cardboard tube has ever so slightly increased in diameter, too.
(since I have no life, I notice stuff like this...)

Nothing new. TP rolls have gotten smaller over the past 20-30 years. Today’s “big” double rolls are no where near the size of regular ones from years past.

Look at a bag of potato chips. they are now around 1.5 to 11 ounces, and have increased to an average of $2.99.

And in the article, mention of Star Kist
Tuna getting smaller. That was noticeable.

Nancy Pelousey is getting greedy in her wealthy capitalist life style. So we shouldn’t buy Star Kist anyhow.

I do a lot of grocery shopping with and without my wife. Food inflation vs portion deflation is definitely running rampant.
But according to the government, inflation is way low.
They lie.

all according to plan, as the far left has decided toilet paper is destroying the planet, hence we should stop using it

I seriously have no life, and I stood in Wal Mart with a calculator figuring out lowest cost per square footage. Scott came out ahead by leaps and bounds. One roll has more paper that other brand ‘triple big rolls’.

We noticed this a couple months back.
The rolls of TP have shrunk in width.

There's now a HUGH gap on both ends of the holder.

Yep, I use the cheapest type of Scott tp (they also make a more expensive soft/squishy type). Not a major budget item in my life, but I have noticed big price differences from store to store. I split my time between two homes, and WalMart is not really convenient to one and out of the question for the other. In other stores, for a single roll in the paper wrapping, I’ve seen prices ranging from $0.99 to $1.49 within a couple blocks of each other.

Dry leaves, corn cobs or the old Sears catalog won't work any longer. LOL

Glenn Beck needs to add the 'stock up on TP' to his list of things he tells folks to stock up on. Having gone hungry because of my ex's mismanagment of his Army paycheck (in the 60's) we had to go hungry for several days on more than one occasion. I vowed never again. And I make sure my cupboards are well stocked with staples and long term store items, and rotate them every week.

I shop both Krogers and the Navy Commissary and both have noticeably gone up on their prices on nearly every item in the past 2 weeks. And yes most of the packages contain less for a higher price. While hubby’s Navy retirement check has shrunk by $10.80 due to 0 tax code fiddling.

Scott is very lacking in endurance. It disintegrates while you’re using it.

Senator Hugh Scott (who inherited the family fortune) must be rolling over in his grave!

What ever happened to quality?

Wait—there’s a Starkist/Pelosi connection?

It’s lousy tuna anyway.

I am tempted to try them!
