COLUMBUS, Ohio - About 1,000 American-born children are forced into the sex trade in Ohio every year and about 800 immigrants are sexually exploited and pushed into sweatshop-type jobs, a new report on human trafficking in the state said Wednesday.
Ohio's weak laws on human trafficking, its growing demand for cheap labor and its proximity to the Canadian border are key contributors to the illegal activity, according to a report by the Trafficking in Persons Study Commission.
"Ohio is not only a destination place for foreign-born trafficking victims, but it's also a recruitment place," said Celia Williamson, an associate professor at the University of Toledo who led the research.....

There is a lot more of this than we know.
I bet a lot of the “lolita” and “family nude” sites are used to advertise their wares because they can legally show nude kids. The abuse is more in person.

One of MY pissed off points!
People who engage in this need to have a short trial and then a firing squad. Deport the illegals too.
And you can bet they have ACORN helping them get houses to work out of.
bullet to the brain.
People who exploit children, other people or animals deserve a special place in hell.
I don’t believe it’s the weak laws on this kind of thing as much as it is the strong laws againt guns and the rights to protect your family.
I was horrified as I watched the program and waited to see how justice was done at the end. Well, if you think that 8 years in jail is justice for what this pimp did to them, then you might consider that justice was done. However, I don't consider this anywhere close to justice. This animal kidnapped two underage girls and raped them. Isn't kidnapping a federal offense that carries a 25 year penalty? Didn't he commit two counts of kidnapping? These girls were raped repeatedly and they were underage. That is an aggravating factor as well. And consider what could have happened to the girls if they had not been rescued. What would this criminal have done to these girls later on when they were no longer of value to him? Would he have just dropped them off by the side of the road, or would he have murdered them because they could identify him? That begs the question, could he have previously kidnapped some other girl and possibly murdered her in the past?
The judge made a mockery of what those two girls and their families went through. It makes you wonder if any crime is considered a serious crime anymore.
