Donald Trump Wants Al Gore's Nobel Peace Prize Stripped

Billionaire real estate tycoon Donald Trump wants Al Gore's Nobel Peace Prize stripped from the Global Warmingist-in-Chief.

"With the coldest winter ever recorded, with snow setting record levels up and down the coast, the Nobel committee should take the Nobel Prize back, " Trump recently told members of his Westchester, New York, country club according to the New York Post.

The Post continued (h/t Polijam):

"Gore wants us to clean up our factories and plants in order to protect us from global warming, when China and other countries couldn't care less. It would make us totally noncompetitive in the manufacturing world, and China, Japan and India are laughing at America's stupidity."

According to the Post, the crowd of 500 stood and applauded.

I have no problem with scrubbing toxic emissions from smoke stacks. I absolutely appose trying to eliminate the emission of CO2, witch is a harmless emission that we should not spend one penny trying to reduce.

That being said, if China and developing countries want to sell us goods they should have to match our environmental standards or pay tariffs. I am sick of sending our industry overseas after we tighten our standards only to have plants move overseas and pollute another country.

Better yet, let's strip the Nobel Prize committee from the responsibilities of selecting who gets the awards. It's nothing more than a charade and a forum for left-wing agenda promotions and propaganda.

Alternately, let's come up with another option for selecting those who are truly worthy of recognition for actual life accomplishments and who have made this world a better place. If the Nobel name is not available, let's name it something else, like "World Merit Prize" perhaps?

I think the committee realized not long after the announcement that Obama’s peace prize was a huge mistake.

I agree that local, anecdotal evidence is worthless when discussing climate change. But I’d propose that what we’ve seen this winter is far from local. When you have the great majority, of the continental United States under uncommon Winter conditions, from Washington to Florida and back up to New York and beyond, that’s far from local. Yet, even when discussing ‘local’ as in where I live, the past three years have seen lower temperatures year-long. Our Summers have been slightly more temperate and our Winters remarkable more troublesome. That IS a trend, albeit a short one.

Things are changing, and it’s not getting warmer. And combined with the meteoric breakdown of AGW ‘evidence’, and the obvious collusion that supported it, AGW as a science is coming to be rightly seen as the World’s greatest folly to date.

I know it's funny to joke about, but we really make ourselves look as dumb as them when we talk about how cold it was in a certain part of the US as though the US is the whole world.

So you are an Animist Global Warming believer?

A few months ago I heard the founder of the Weather Channel say that he and about 30 others were making plans to sue Egore. Has anyone heard the status of this suit?

Snow on the ground
Snow on the ground
I’m lookin’ like a fool
With the snow on the ground
Accumulation up - temperatures down
I’m lookin’ like a fool
With the snow on the ground.

Ran across this thread while searching for an old Phantom Lord post (what happened to him???). Donald Trump has been and continues to be a wise man.
