Less than two months to go now to the big tax deadline!
That's the way it is for me every year. How much time do I have left? I work, stress, sometimes borrow to pay what I owe.
All around me I see stories of people with children getting money from the federal government in what to them is large amounts. This money often greatly exceeds the amount they have had withheld for their tax obligations.
My latest example: My niece and her boyfriend. He has no job, gets unemployment, has been known to say there's no sense looking for a job until unemployment is down to 5% since he is a felon. (tip: check "no" when asked if you are a felon when seeking employment, the worse they can do is fire you). He worked for a landscaper before being fired. (Since when do you qualify for unemployment if you are fired?)
But I digress. He fathered 2 children at the same time, has been with my niece since before her child was born, still is. Must be paying support on the other infant. He claimed head of household along with the child credit, maybe 2 child credit and recieved a check from your federal government exceeding $5,000.00. The niece has a 4 year old child from a previous relationship and also received a fat check from your federal government.
She was working at a convience store until this windfall, she quit her job without giving notice leaving her employer, who is her mother's friend hanging and very angry.
I know, I know, the morals of the situation could be a side issue. Actually my issue is not with them, my issue is with the federal government.
This just one instance of hundreds of thousands. I thnk the best the federal government should do for people concerning federal tax obligation is to absolve them of paying any federal tax, NOTHING MORE!
I know, this is what Democrats call tax cuts for the poor, they send them a check.

If you have proof of this, you have knowledge of crimes being committed. Being a government school authority are you not obligated to report crimes being committed by your students?

All the proof I have is what the kids say. I don’t know about being a government school “authority”, but I’m pretty sure that doesn’t make me anything special. I can’t put anybody on double secret probation.
Latest poll shows that only 2% of Americans believe they got a tax cut from Obama.
If you choose to work for only 3 months a year, the government will send you a free earned income credit check. (It should be called an unearned check.)
Once again, the government rewards failure. Choose not to work, and they'll send you thousands in cold, hard, cash.
There is also no private school today, either. The county Christian school and our Catholic schools have decided to shut down.
It seems children are learning in school.

Make on taxes, my ass. I have been paying into the federal chest for the past 41 years.
Just think how much more snow we would have if it were not for global warming!

We have what we call Liberty Meetings here in west central Ohio, at least people are meeting and talking.

I pay all year long and then on April 15th I mail another big ass check to the state and federal goobermints.
Clark Howard was on the radio this morning advising people how to get the EITC. I nearly wrecked from screaming at the radio.
Earned Income Credit. Party time at the projects. Then they all go out and buy cars, forgetting about insurance, maintenance, gas, parking availability, parking safety (vandalism). Two months later they are getting evicted because they can’t pay rent, the car cost too much. Happens every year at my building.
