Resetting the Restore Point to yesterday did it.

Putting Malware Bytes and Spy Bot on the machine now.

I have to get that old Norton off to allow Avast to work.

I like to do a lot of scans, I always update and I do only, deep, full scans.

I do several scans a day, I use avast antivirus, malwarebytes, Superantispyware, Windows defender, glaryutilities, spywareblaster,IOBits Security 360, Eset online antivirus scanner, and Bitdefender online antivirus scanner and I use them all on the highest rating, it is just a habit I got into doing since I leave the computer on all day, I also have windows update on automatic.

Occasionally I will try adaware and spybot again to see if anything is new.

When I get a discarded computer I put it through all those paces to clean it up and always works, although to get started i have sometimes had to use the USB trick.
