WTH is going on here? Is this really that important? Every news channel is waiting for his press conference.....CNBC even has people talking about how this will affect endorsements.
It's not like we hav a corrupt government, housing crisis, massive unemployment, two wars or anything!

Scandals, etc. grab lots of eyes to TV and ears to talk radio. Michael Jackson, John Edwards, Patches Kennedy,
Tiger Woods, steroids, Jon and Kate, etc.

Gee, I haven’t seen it yet. You must be watching too much TV, or the wrong Channels, or I’m just too highly selective.
And I play Golf. Maybe we need some TV screens in the Golf carts ? Yeah, and ONLY play Tiger’s Apology on that station, as its connected to Golf (somehow).
I’m not watching, but I’m curious about one thing: is Elin there?

I think that was his point. Said something was wrong with society. Nothing is personal or private these days. Everything is socialized and on its way to being federalized.
btw my cable system took Tru TV and MSNBC off my tier. Then they got back on; COPS, etc. on Tru TV, and we know what’s on the other channel.
Now I tune and and guess what, Comcast has messages on each channel: NOT AUTHORIZED. In other words, it’s off the tier again.
I’M REALLY GONNA MISS...TRU-TV :)

The question isn’t whether it is particularly important ... the question is whether there is anything else more important that must be covered at this very moment. 24-hour news networks have a lot of time to fill ... so they’ll seize on any remotely interesting breaking story that they can.
It isn’t as if they’re pre-empting coverage of anythign else worth watching. Maury Povich, Jerry Springer, and Family Feud reruns are likely worth pre-empting for Tiger Woods.

Well, Woods is also big business. And I do mean big. Other peoples’ lives and livelihoods have been impaired by this guy’s degeneracy. I can think of a lot of stockholders who hope Woods has had an epiphany.
