DUBAI, United Arab Emirates The Middle East's biggest shopping mall was partially evacuated Thursday as maintenance crews scrambled to contain a leak that amateur video showed spilling water out of the shark-filled aquarium.
The footage posted on the Web site of Dubai newspaper Gulf News showed the water from the 2.6 million gallon tank showering down on the mall's polished floors.
Visitors were kept far from the scene shortly after the water began pouring from behind the 2-1/2 foot (0.75 meter) thick viewing panel, making it difficult to gauge the extent of the damage. From a distance, most of the water and fish appeared to be contained inside the tank.

most of the water and fish appeared to be contained inside the tank Less concerned about where the water is, more concerned about the fish...

One would think that if your entire economy and way of life is based on oil, you would relate the volume of the tank in barrels.

Should have gone with the ill-tempered sea bass.

Now this is the type of hit I can get behind. I give them a 10 for creativity.

Theres a good chance they’ll kill the fish if they’ve lost too much water. Adding a significant percentage of the water volume changes the chemistry and shocks the fish.

Darn It! I knew I should have saved it, but I was running out the door and didn’t want to be late to work. I guess that means it was a real pic?
